The 6 disc changer in my 2.0 civic got jammed (again). 3rd time in 6mths and my car just turned 1. Brilliant really. Can't be sub-standard cds, I use originals knowing full well how 'sensitive' it is. Then again, I noticed the discs to be very hot to the touch when I change them (after parking under the sun which we all do and I have the most expensive Vkool!)

Anyone any ideas?

The best in its class.

Yup.. you are right. I was going WTF??!! I paid good money for the car and yet there I was wasting precious time going to the SC. One or two times to fix defects I can accept lah. After all, no car is perfect right out of the factory door right? Surely, there would be some minor defects. But I think > 10x is a bit too much for a Honda.

Anyhow, most of the problems have been fixed but some are still there. Difficult to pin down if the problems only appear at times. I am just hoping I don't encounter any more, any time soon.

10 x went to SC ? wtf.. i ll only go there that much if the GT babes are doing all the maintenance works.

btw have you solved the problem or not ? the funny sounds ?

Can send back to SC.... but how many times you want to do it lah? My first 2 months of owning the car, I think I went there more than 10 times... and even then, problem still ada. Fed up lah. But if you don't mind and are mentally prepared for it, go ahead lah.

webnoob is it true ? thats what im afraid too if buying the car.. right now im still using a waja, thinking to trade in for an altis or a civic. but i ll go for 1.8 liter just to be safe on the fuel economy thing.but isnt the warranty is still valid ? try to send the car back for repair bro ,

*a ckd unit always like this one...

I have had this car. Specs look good on paper and on short drives, feels great but honestly, the QC is quite bad. Didn't expect this sort of quality for a Honda. All kind of rattling and tuk-tuk, tak-tak sounds within the first 2 weeks of ownership. Don't think it's built to last.

nice car but honda should make this chasis with 2 door....then it will be gone in 2 seconds
