2007 Honda CR-V Modulo Test Drive

2007 Honda CR-V Modulo courtesy of Honda Malaysia ; The 2nd gen CR-V courtesy of Mr Razali
Shoot-outs have been conducted between this two generations and suprisingly we couldnt find a winner ; why ? shoot-out videos coming soon.
Esthetically both come with a tailgate spoiler that comes standard on the 3rd gen Modulo and factory option for the 2nd gen
No more exposed spare-tyre for the 3rd gen,it's tucked nicely inside the boot compartment
Anyone will love this CR-V at first sight ,the bold chromes grill , gently sloping hood ,the design is solid enough for a SUV
With the Modulo bodykit, this baby comes standard with front aero bumper - it cost you around rm 2000++ if you want to upgrade yours.
Run on premium package - Modulo Premium comes with muscular bumpers ( front and rear ) ,skirtings, running boards and spoilers.
It will sure turns head wherever it travels The test unit comes with Sparkle Gray Pearl body color with black interior
wider wheel arches compared to 2nd gen CR-V giving enough clearance for the factory fitted 17" wheels
big, bold, beautiful if you want to add one more word it should be nice or pretty or ...
pretty nice and beautiful

the very big hexagon sized side mirrors really help to navigate turns and reverse ; comes with side turn light
even the wiper blades now have shapes.
the halogen projector lights two tier chromes grill most of the model only comes with a black interior.
we cant really ignored how comfortable the new CR-V now compared to the last one but the arm rest is a bit high and the front seats arent that comfy for a man with a mass of 90kg and 6 feet high.
dashboard comes fairly simple and neatly design but yes it's big
lower glove box, this is where you keep pair of glove
upper glove box
yay! now it comes with a lid!easy to open and easy to close. This is where the ray-ban should be - nice and safe
leather wrapped gear-level placed on the centre console ; the 2nd gen gear-level -reminded us to the old Nissan C20 ; also in this picture a dual zone air conditioner controls.
all control knobs are large enough for easy grip ; we like the radio controls easy to switch on and off ,volume control and etc even a 2 years old know how to turn on the radio.Compared to the 2nd gen comes with a Kenwood Head-Unit which is very troublesome to use Picture by Fahmi This is the only thing we found it very interesting but disturbing on the CR-V - a cheese grater design on the new steering wheel
control buttons everywhere and here the head rest for the rear seats are too hard and not easy to pull-up ; well maybe it's still new and we didnt bother to read the manual
