 The Hyundai Starex entered the market a few weeks ago as one of the very few MPV that can sit eleven. Hezeri Samsuri got his hands on one and read his first impression of Hyundai's new star below. Hyundai Sime Darby Motors has launched their new MPV recently. Called the Starex, this extra large MPV seats 12 easily and is powered by a proven 2.5-litre CRDi VGT (variable geometry turbo) engine which you can also find under the hood of the Santa Fe SUV. Of course initial comment will be it looks like a bus, but after 4 days of driving time, we think those looking for the Alphard or even the El-Grande should consider test driving this behemoth because it is actually quite good.
