Three letters is enough. That's how confident the Nissan bigwigs were when they decided that the successor to the GT-R version of the Skyline be awarded a whole new model designation all its own. So no more Skyline then. Three letters is enough. And it wasn't as if there wasn't any pressure of tremendously high expectation from motoring pundits the world over. Yet they did it. Nissan's GTR has met everyone's expectations, and then some. Hell, it's managed to bring it's benchmark rivals from established sportscar makers down on their knees!
