Finally the boys at Sepang have figure it out. The Sepang Drag Battle is always known as an event that starts late and finish when "Azan Subuh" hit the air the next day. The earlier held 4th round and the 5th round held on Saturday proved otherwise as qualifying are now held as early as 4 pm to make sure that those on grandstand that night got to watch all of those 10 seconds glory interrupted by very minimal 16 seconds action, which is a blessing "Alhamdulillah". Anyway terato.com's red satria did not make it that night but we'll make sure that we'll blast through the drag battle next year. The circuit was designed by non other than Herman Tilke, from the renowned German race track designer, Tilke Gmbh, considered by many as the world’s best. The 3.2 km circuit will run clock-wise incorporating 12 turns that is bound to keep even the most discerning of motorsports fans on their feet. Although the circuit was designed to first of all fulfill the stringent FIA safety regulations, it still provides a challenging and exciting track with an average speed of 176km/h and the top speed reaching over 300km/h.
