The Prince of Drift @ Tengku Djan Ley will be conducting a will
be conducting a drift training program at Bkt Jalil Stadium catered for rookies
interested to learning proper drifting techniques. Details of the event are
as follow:
Sunday 13th July 2008 couldn’t have produced two more different
and exciting Aston Martin Asia Cup races if it tried!. Rounds Five and Six of
the Championship saw six different drivers visit the podium with one dry and
one (very!) wet race to entertain the crowd.
Two time MME winner, The Proton R3 team will be debuting two new brand new race machines a Proton GEN-2 CPS and Waja CPS for the upcoming Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race. The Proton GEN-2 CPS will be competing in the Class B category while the Waja CPS will be partnering the grid with another R3’s Proton Satria Neo while last year's Lotus 300RR is unlikely to be part of the line up.
According to sources Faidzil Alang and Tengku Djan Ley will likely pilot one of the car for the race while the rest of the lineup is yet to be known.
The first session of Sepang’s night practice sessions for
the Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race (MME) 2008 last night received
overwhelming response with the participation of more than 30 cars including
the all-ladies RedBull Rookies Racing Team, which had their first taste
night racing around the circuit.
With one more round to go and just a maximum of 40 more points to win, Boy leads the Supersixteen Championship with 110 points and a 29-point advantage over Ramesh, who has 81 points. Ian is third overall with 68 points and out of the championship battle.Aston Martin Asia Cup photos also inside...
