Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Sepang International Circuit (SIC), a special gathering is being organised by the Sepang Circuit Sports Club (SCSC) in honour of its former staff this Saturday (August 30) at the circuit in conjunction with the 2008 Petronas Primax 3 Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race.
Keifli Othman and Faizal Hakimi Jaafar – two big names in Malaysia’s motor racing fraternity – will be joining forces for the first time in the Merdeka Millennium Endurance (MME) race despite being close friends as far as they can remember. They would be joined by another MME regular Abdul Razak Mohoideen as the third driver for the 12-hour race.
Malaysia’s prestigious 12-hour endurance race - the Petronas Primax 3 Merdeka Millennium Endurance (MME) - runs its ninth edition at Sepang Circuit this week; drawing 102 cars, 306 drivers and more than 1,000 team officials and crew members in what could perhaps be its last race in a 12-hour format.
Surviving only half the race last year due to engine problems, the Australian Holden V8 Supercar Experience Racing Team is returning to Sepang Circuit for the 2008 Petronas Primax 3 Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race with stronger determination and to go all the way to the chequered flag for the coveted crown.

Came the third round and the drag battle was back to its usual festival like crowd and the pits stuffed with people and machines aspiring to watch and get to that sub-10 sec time.
