First there was that Proton Perdana RWD then came Tengku Djan with his Waja tarik belakang after that we've seen a Proton Satria RWD and finally came a Wira in Rear wheel drive setup. Reason for the conversion is we're tired of waiting for a Sepang Sunday Track Day because it is like scheduling a date with that hot bombshell from your workplace. Its an expensive proposition and you rarely stand a chance against the big boys who normally rented out the circuit to have fun by themselves and dont usually give a break to all of us "kocek tak besar" enthusiast.
Here we will update you with the development of our own Terato.com Drift Car project sponsored by who else but yours truly. As we're just starting with this project do let us know if you have any suggestion on how we can turn this previously FF then 4WD now FR wira into a proper drift machine send in your comments and suggestions below.
A Sedan like driving MPV would be the perfect way to sum it up for the 2007 Honda Stream. We like almost everything about the car except for a thing or two such as the non availability of rear air-cond vent and ICE head unit. This is the Photos and Details ...
Tengku Djan spent almost 5 years with the AE86 and knows the car inside out. This is the very same car he used during the D1GP at Irwindale Speedway in California in 2006 and 2007 and managed to place 5th for both events.
Once upon a time there was a boy who, at the tender age of five was
introduced to the world of motorsports. However, no soothsayer could ever
foretell that this young boy’s destiny would eventually see him taking up
the mantles of a king. And so, Malaysia’s very own future King of Drift
was written into the threads of prophecy. Tengku Djan Ley, the undisputed
poster boy of drifting in Malaysia in not your average king – his daily
appearance on Panadol’s TVC, backed with the 5th place he took from his
previous outings in the D1GP World Championship in 2006 and 2007 has
rightfully made his name into a household name.
Just when we thought the 2007 Honda CR-V was a “Sedan-like-driving-vehicle” on high heels, we were proven to be wrong and will have to confer that award to the 2007 Honda Stream instead. I prefer to call this one a 7-seater sedan instead of a minivan, MPV or anything of the likes. You just need to sit down, start the engine, release the footbrake, engage the gear to D and enjoy a TRUE sedan-like-driving-MPV for the rest of your trip. And don’t forget to buckle up - the warning sound would not go off until you do.
