Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has announced the names of two new models. The U.S.-market Lancer will be renamed "GALANT FORTIS" for the Japan domestic market. Also, Mitsubishi's rally-inspired, high-performance 4WD sedan will carry the name "LANCER EVOLUTION X".
GruppeM racer Tim Sugden continued his assault on the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Class A title with his third win in a row to take victory over SCC Racing’s Christian Jones in Round 3 of the series. Thailand’s Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak made a welcome return to the podium in 3rd. Victory in Class B went to William “Chip” Connor after a spectacular drive, with Singapore’s Mok Weng Sun in 2nd, followed across the line by Australian Peter Boylan.
